What are the size and weight of the LinX CGM sensor?
The LinX CGM sensor has a diameter of 22mm and a thickness of 4.2mm, making it as light as half an A4 paper and weighing only 2.2g.
Is calibration required or accepted by the LinX CGM?
The inclusion of the calibration option enables users to manually calibrate the system if desired. However, the LinX CGM is designed to function properly without the need for calibrations. While calibrating with your meter is not required.
Can the LinX CGM system be used to make daily therapy decisions?
While children and young individuals may understand how their food, physical activity, and insulin usage impact their glucose levels, allowing them to make informed decisions about their therapy, it is essential that they are supervised by an adult caregiver (18 years or older) when making therapy-related decisions.
Is it required to remove the sensor during an MRI or CT scan?
When scheduling medical appointments involving powerful magnetic or electromagnetic radiation, like X-rays, MRIs, or CT scans, it's essential to remove the LinX Sensor. Replace it with a new Sensor afterward to maintain accuracy. However, the LinX CGM remains unaffected by mobile phone magnetic fields.
