6 LinX CGM Sensors (3 Months)

I have not had a single hypoglycemia episode since I've begun using LinX. My health has improved in record time; no more fatigue or interrupted sleep patterns or guessing whether I should eat or not. LinX, through its app, has allowed me to understand how certain foods affect my blood glucose level. I can now decide how much I can eat and when. Also, how rigorous of an exercise I partake in.

I also suffer from extreme spikes of hyperglycemia. The app warns me repeatedly to address them when they occur with figures that are updated every 60 seconds. The LinX sensor readings are incredibly precise as I double check now and then using a normal glucometer.

I bought the 3 month supply almost 3 months ago. I did not want to go on Metforin, so I bought some sensors on the recommendation of my brother. The sensors arrived about a week later, very easy to install them on the back of my upper arm, and linking them to the app is simple. The LinX CGM software is really helpful with figuring out which foods cause blood sugar spikes, and also how long the spikes last. It also serves to let the user know if exercise raises blood sugar or lowers it. For me, low carbs, and exercising in the afternoon or evening work best. The 'Trends' screen in the app tell you lots of useful things. The best for me is the estimated A1C based on the readings of the past week. When I started, my A1C was 8.3, and now I have it consistently below 6.5, which technically means I am out of the range of being a diabetic. I just ordered another 6 months worth of sensors and hope to fine tune the diet and exercise down to an A1C in the 5.6 range. This is the best money I have ever spent on a health related issue. I have also lost just over 20 pounds in the past 3 months by trying to keep my blood sugar in range. Definitely recommend!
